Judy Ann Gustafson
Odessa Judy Ann Gustafson, 89, beloved Mother, and long time Odessa
resident went to her Lord on Monday, August 14, 2006. She is now in
the arms of the Angels.
“Mrs. Gus”, as she was known, retired from the ECISD after
approximately 50 years of teaching service. Her kind and loving ways
kept a smile on our faces, and hope and joy in our hearts. She
graduated from North Texas State University and later received her
MA from Sul Ross University of Alpine, TX.She was predeceased by the
love of her life, Carl Gustafson and was married 52 years. She was
also predeceased by her 5 sisters and parents, Walter & Nancy
Stevens. Surviving family members include her two daughters, Jan
Gustafson of Odessa and Ann Karen Gray of Phoenix, AZ. (2)
grandchildren, and (1) great-grandson. |

Francis Lloyd Seifert, 88,
of Odessa died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at Hospice House.
He was born August 16, 1919, to Francis Xavier and Louise
Henrietta Rice Seifert in Lancaster, Pa. He married Barbara Jo
Keagle September 6, 1947, in Dallas, Texas. Francis came to Odessa
in 1951, he was employed for 35 years for ECISD and had taught at
Permian High School and retired in 1983. He served in the Army.
He is survived by a son, James ‘Jim' Seifert of San Antonio;
three daughters, Donna Wallace of Austin, Teresa ‘Terri'
Caultrap of Louisville, Kentucky, and Betty Rand of Gardendale;
and nine grandchildren.
