My name is Dana and I am the widow of Larry Ridge.  Larry died on February 13, 2003 in an auto accident.  While you may already be aware that Larry had three grown children from previous marriages (Larry, Jr. age 28, Kagan age 20, and Afton age 19), you may not be aware that Larry had become a father yet again only a few short months before his death.  Our son, Charles Perry Ridge, was seven months old when he lost his father.  He's now almost two and showing all the signs of being just as funny and ornery as his daddy.  Before he died, Larry had told me that he was looking forward to attending the next PHS reunion and surprising his friends at being a new father again at age 53!!!  He joked that since his older kids had not given him any grandchildren, that he just took care of it himself.  If you have any memories (funny or otherwise) you'd like to share about Larry, I would love to hear them and be able to pass them on to his son.  You can write me at the email address listed.
