Wesley Morgan Hardin

ODESSA — Wesley Morgan Hardin, 53, of Odessa, died in a plane crash near Weatherford, Texas, on Jan. 15, 2004.
He was born Aug. 2, 1950, in Odessa, Texas. He was educated in the Ector County Independent School District and graduated from Permian High School in 1968. He earned a degree in pharmacy from the University of Texas and was the owner/pharmacist of University Pharmacy.
Wesley was a member of First Baptist Church, served on the Odessa College Foundation, the Odessa Country Club Board of Directors, was a past president of the West Texas Pharmacy Association and past president of the Flatlanders Ski Club.
Wesley enjoyed golf, snow skiing, travel, flying and hunting.
He was particularly proud of his two sons, Brandon, a midshipman at the U.S. Naval Academy, and Grayson, a senior at Odessa High School. The things he liked best included fast red cars, his four Labrador retrievers, beautiful spring flowers and the University of Texas football team.
He is survived by his wife, Holly Hampton Hardin; his sons, Brandon Chase Hardin and Grayson Noel Hardin; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Hardin; his sister, Vicky Hardin; and his brother, Wilson Hardin.
The family suggest memorials be made to the First Baptist Church or the Odessa College Foundation.
